Published purpose
The HPTCA-T process involves directing mixed isotopes to a column packed with catalyst and operating at low temperatures causing the isotopes to react and separate out in a controlled manner. Then in a following process the isotopes can be separately collected and stored. The separation process is a batch mode process. The system involves a complex computer program to manipulate the process to best advantage.
