Published purpose
Germany 3+2 AIIR-Power consortium project with German and Canadian partners to develop Artificial intelligence (AI) techniques for the optimization of optoelectronic devices. An AI approach will be applied to design & manufacture elevated-voltage photonic power converters (PPC) operating at 1550 nm, enabling combined power & data long-distance transfer. Materials, fabrication and full devices will be characterized.
