Published purpose

The firm’s Modular Structural System (incl. modular component connections, roof & floor structure) is one of three systems within the firm’s building system. The goal of the proposed project is to ensure standardization of the modules and structural system for flexibility of layout, such that each module need not require excessive additional engineering design for each subsequent configuration of new designs for resilience in global weather systems. In addition to the base design is the update of the component connections and wall/floor/roof systems that allow for maximum strength, speed of build that snap the modules, and flexibility of interchangeable finishes, upgrades, and maintenance throughout the lifespan of the building.
