Published purpose

The purpose of this project is to help in the design and integration of an automotive fixturing traceability system. Specifically, to implement a Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP software plus bar coding system and related hardware to manage raw material inventory and part traceability during the fixture build sequence. Transitioning from a manual to automated process will eliminate component inaccuracies and help to better manage supply and provide time savings in our overall production process. We will have the capability of real time data and inventory levels for our raw materials plus accurate costs on our jobs. The system will improve our material traceability for each job from shipping/receiving, material preparation, and fabrication.
