Published purpose
Development of a retrofit in-line die-cutting system for a 40-inch Komori Lithrone sheet-fed offset printing press. The system consists of a (fixed) cutting cylinder and several cutting dies. It would be installed as an add-on to existing printing presses in the commercial printing sector and would allow the combination of printing and cutting operations on the same machine thus providing productivity and capital cost advantages.
