Published purpose

This project includes designing, building, testing and commissioning of multiple, flexible assembly and welding lines for sub components used in Electric and Hybrid vehicles. Each line will be designed and built where the key function required is the automatic joining (spot welding, GMAW, fastening etc.) of automotive structural components to be used in Electric Vehicle and Hybrid vehicle production. Each project involves multiple products being produced on a single platform. BEV / PEV are relatively new. Flexibility for both production volumes and technical changes are required to ensure the Tier 1 supplier can quickly adapt to new OEM requirements. Scale-able platforms utilizing robotics & modular controls will be key deliverables.
