DV8 is building a rod string design software product called DV8 Dynamics. This software will design the sucker rod pumping system and eliminate the high error rate in rod string design. The current software used for designing wells was developed when wells were mainly vertical and does not produce an accurate rod design for deviated wells. This ends up costing producers a significant amount of money due to increased maintenance issues, equipment failures and the associated losses in production and work over costs. DV8 will develop a gas lift solution. DV8 GL will use machine learning models to optimize compressor and valve operations in the field to increase production. The system will be cloud based automated optimization system.
