Published purpose

Empowered Homes intends to help homeowners lower their energy consumption through the development of software that integrates with smart HVAC devices to coordinate the various HVAC systems within a dwelling to optimize energy efficiencies and save customers money. Termed “Auto-Climate”, the integrated platform should enable homeowners to regulate and optimize the comfort of their homes with little direct input or monitoring and would be the first of its kind in the HVAC industry. To maximize Auto-Climate’s ability to optimize energy efficiency, the project also includes investments in enhancing data capture, structures and analytics so as to enable value added feature sets embedded within the smart HVAC devices and through software apps
