Develop lightweight aluminum or aluminum/steel personnel carriers for the mining industry that can perform to ISO3471 and ISO3449 standards on all brands of pickup trucks. The industry standard has been to use Toyota Landcruiser diesel trucks underground, but with the introduction of affordable electric trucks such as the Ford Lightening, there may be a move to other platforms as electrification becomes more common. TopROPS would like to start designing options for these vehicles before mines begin to deploy them so that we can offer a mature solution.
