This Pipeline Upgrade is designed to modernize our production pipeline and increase our capacity to meet rapidly growing demand for VFX content. Through leveraging cloud workflows we will be able to meet our primary goal; to increase capacity. One of the most practical solutions is to hire talented artists from across Canada and worldwide to work remotely. We need to easily provide them with virtual workstations, cloud storage and network connectivity in a cloud region that is geographically close enough for them to overcome the network latency that is inherent in connections over long distances. In addition we need them to be able to seamlessly use our production software and custom too whilst maintaining MPAA security requirements.
