Published purpose

Volume manufacturing of cost-effective high power optical amplifiers is essential for the next generation satellite constellations. This project aims to develop tools and know-how to enable Lumentum Ottawa Inc, to design, validate, and PAGE 4 manufacture 1550 nm high power (1-10 W) optical amplifiers for free-space optical communication in volume.
