Published purpose
The project enables patients to access room comfort controls directly from the IBT (Integrated Bedside Terminal) without leaving their bed. The patient will be able to control temperature, lights and blinds while enabling the possibility for integrations with other IoT devices (internet of things) installed in the future. The project directly impacts various initiatives in the health care industry, such as: reducing the impact on our environment, reducing risk of patient injury, and improving hospital resource allocation.
