Published purpose
dTIMS Safety Insights offers an array of comparative analyses based on the data sources available to offer insights on the contributing factors of incidents or even make recommendations on actions that could be taken to reduce the risk of future incidents occurring. Leveraging state of the art Telematics data, potentially dangerous driving events that are reoccurring on the infrastructure can be identified and investigated. Reducing fatalities, serious injury, property damage and congestion due to crash level events are the objective of dTIMS Safety Intelligence. When paired with dTIMS Business Analytics, the Life Cycle Cost Analysis could now consider treatments that would increase road network safety.
