Published purpose
An AA5083 base alloy with various additions of Sc and Zr alloys will be cast and processed to yield the optimum mechanical properties. The resulting sheet will be subsequently evaluated at NRC for its strength and formability at room temperature, and at high temperatures (superplastic forming capability).
