Published purpose

The FacePass R&D project will build on Face4's recent seamless travel R&D projects with Canada Border Services Agency (air and land borders) and Eurostar (UK Train border). Each of these systems allows a traveller to self-enroll using a mobile app, create a digital travel credential (DTC), and use only face as the single security token for identity verification at the border checkpoint. The objective project is to develop a more advanced and robust seamless travel solution and pilot it at one of the most secure and demanding airport environments in the world. The input and feedback from Israel Airports Authority will enhance data security, cybersecurity, privacy and traveller/staff user experience for both air and land borders.
