Published purpose
Innovative Fuel Systems will leverage their commercialized natural gas dual fuel system for heavy-duty engines to develop a hydrogen-diesel dual fuel system that will be applicable to 90% of the heavy-duty engines on the road today. The hydrogen-dual fuel engines will reduce diesel consumption and CO2e emissions. A consortium of fleet operators will conduct field verification of the engines developed as part of this project.
