Published purpose
Fortran’s FLUX ATMS (Advanced Traffic Management System) serves municipalities with their day-to-day roadway traffic operations. The ATMS is comprised of advanced engineering running in the Backend (BE) and coupled with a customer-facing Frontend (FE) that is entirely browser-based. The existing FE is based on a legacy framework(s) that Fortran is looking to replace with today’s industry-standard framework, “React”. While migrating to React, the FE User-Interface (UI) will also be updated to make it more modern, using MUI. The project will yield a fresh FE framework with a fresh UI to go along with it.
