Published purpose

Smart Skin's line monitoring system has the potential to prevent expensive line outages for pharmaceutical and food & beverage customers if used ‘in-process’ before each new production campaign or batch. However, there are several barriers to in-process use which this project aims to overcome. Smart Skin is developing a new offering, an “in-process line monitoring system”, that will address these barriers by guiding front-line operators to collect data in a consistent and efficient way and give the operator immediate feedback on line health through automated analysis. This new application will have enhanced cGMP compliance compared to our existing diagnostic tools which is critical for pharmaceutical industry adoption.
