Published purpose

EMS-Tech Inc. will develop a loading system that will be suspended from shiploaders used to transfer grain, or other bulk materials, from shoreside to ship's cargo holds. This system will address concerns with loading during rain events, while also controlling dust emissions. The system will comprise a rain cover assembly with a loading spout assembly all to be affixed to the shiploader. The spout will allow controlled feed & distribution of material within the ship's cargo holds via a spout system that is free to extend, retract, slew and luff, to reach all areas of the cargo hold. The systems will be scalable & transferable such that it could be applied to a variety of ships, or to shore side applications.
