Published purpose

Etee has developed novel IP in the form of a backyard compostable refill pod to hold super concentrated (up to 90% concentration of the leading brands) household cleaners and personal care products. The pod is composed of biodegradable hemp dust (Manitoba), algae (Ontario), natural waxes (US), oils and tree resins (Indonesia). Etee has sold over 400,000 pods to date, and see an opportunity to double the output, including licensing opportunities with partner organizations. The biggest obstacle to achieving this goal is the leak and break rate during shipment and smell transfer from the pod to Etee's personal care products. The purpose of this project is to reduce leaks, breaks and smell transfer through a new & novel formulation.
