Published purpose
NORCAT will provide support and facility access to approximately 8 (4 in FY 23/24 & 4 in FY24/25) SMEs looking to develop, test, commercialize and/or demonstrate new technologies for the underground mining industry. The NORCAT Underground Centre and support services/programs will be used for this initiative. This project will also support a marketing and awareness effort by the NORCAT Underground Centre aimed at increasing the total yearly number of SMEs utilizing the facility and services.
