Published purpose
To develop Gyro downhole sensor pack, and integration with fast EM ( Electro -Magnetic) telemetry system for HDD application. Advances in surveying and locating technologies such as electromagnetic devices, will improve the ability to accurately locate underground utilities and reduce the risk of damage during drilling.
