Published purpose
This 9 month project will see the design and developments of key components of the firm's Carbon Platform (OCP). The OCP will facilitate the end-to-end generation of carbon credits by combining real-time operational data, carbon intensity databases, and both local and global ocean models to generate carbon credits on demand. In effect, the OCP will implement the firm's Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) as an ongoing process across different project sites across the globe. The focus of this iteration is on the Ocean Carbon Calculator (OCC) that is a cloud based system capable of tracking, verifying and retiring carbon credit.
