Published purpose
To develop an efficient method to collect fine (sand, glass, cigarette butts, etc), small (stones, caps, bottles, cans, etc), medium (tire fragments, tires, life jackets, etc) , and large (dead animal carcasses such as deer, bicycles, lawnchairs, tree limbs, etc) debris from major roads and highways with no need for people to stop and exit the vehicle while on the highway in order to collect and move the debris off of the highway.
