Published purpose
As part of the international cleantech project “AI-powered Corrosion Inspection for Ship Structures,” this project will focus on the application of AI-based software to inspect and quantify corrosion in seagoing assets. The steps involved in the pilot project will be as follows: 1) Analysis of data using computer vision-based AI application 2) comparison between existing vs proposed approach, and 3) A final report generation. The major milestone will be to generate an insightful inspection report, which will contain condition-based inspection outcomes, predictive assessment, and comparative analysis.
