Published purpose
As part of the international consortium project “RT HGS-ML”, this project will focus enhancing water resource management by integrating the advanced HydroGeoSphere (HGS) model with machine learning (ML). Over three years, the initiative will develop ML algorithms to boost real-time simulations for better decision-making. Year one focuses on algorithm development and setting up data collection and preprocessing systems. Year two involves a proof-of-concept phase to evaluate the integrated model's performance. The final year will apply this model to a real-world watershed for accurate, real-time predictions. Deliverables include a hybrid modeling tool, a user-friendly interface, comprehensive technical documentation, and stakeholder training.
