Published purpose

With the recent closure/idling of two significant pulp mills, which produced for major woodchip consumers in Ontario, investments in reducing by-products, such as woodchips, are at a premium within the forestry industry. This project is the research and development phase to optimize the slashing operation in the wood room, aiming to increase yield FBM/m3 (foot board measure per cubic meter) and reduce the by-product generated per output FBM produced.
