Published purpose
Polar Sapphire produces high purity aluminum used in lithium-ion battery manufacturing for critical coatings which extend life, safety and performance of next generation batteries. This demonstration project will establish a high purity alumina production facility in Canada, contributing to establishing a growing field of critical componentry for electric vehicle and renewable energy sector production nationally.
