Published purpose

The NRC and Corem's Mineralurgy Analytics and Technology (MAT) group are collaborating to develop a self-driving lab for the extraction and study of critical minerals from black mass with two key technological advancements: in situ probe reaction monitoring for real-time chemical analysis, and automation of repetitive tasks using robotics. These integrated solutions aim to enhan fficiency, safety, and data quality. By leveraging advanced monitoring and automation technologies, the Project seeks to revolutionize lab operations and contribute to innovative mineral processing practices in Canada.
