Published purpose

Traditional wound care often relies on subjective assessments and frequent in-person visits, which can be inconvenient, stressful, and painful for seniors Advanced digital health tools that can help patients and their family members better track vitals and basic assessment of wounds, without having to transport aged individuals to a clinic or emergency room is needed. The NRC Team and Skinopathy will collaborate to woundscombine the NRC-MD’s Video Analysis Framework with Skinopathy’s wound-assessing AI. Skinopathy will be also validating the improved Skinopathy Wounds technology for operational effectiveness –which is being piloted in a long-term care facility – for use in a clinic and home environment.
