Pilot trials of the new diesel-electric hybrid yarding systems which have been developed and retrofitted into a grapple swing yarder. Detailed performance metrics will be quantified, including fuel savings, maintenance requirements, and yarding performance, to accurately quantify cost per cubic meter of production.
