Published purpose

Durham College’s AI Hub will help small and medium‑sized businesses identify, design, and develop practical artificial intelligence solutions that improve efficiency and support long‑term growth. Through advisory services and early‑stage applied research, companies will receive technical validation, implementation‑ready roadmaps, and customized proof‑of‑concept solutions aligned with their data, workflows, and business objectives. The project enables SMEs to overcome common barriers to AI adoption by providing access to expertise, infrastructure, and hands‑on support that most firms cannot easily access on their own. By strengthening AI‑enabled operations and products, the initiative will enhance productivity, competitiveness, and innovation across Canada.
