Barreleye Ltd. develops software that optimizes water use in oil and gas operations. The proposed Scenario Analysis and System Hydraulics project expands Barreleye’s platform with economic scenario analysis and engineering-grade fluid dynamics modeling. These tools allow producers to evaluate alternatives to freshwater while validating the economic feasibility of using recycled produced water, brackish water, or blended solutions instead. Scenario planning informs short and long term investment decisions that accelerate the transition away from the requirement of, or reliance on, freshwater. System hydraulics ensures accurate water flow forecasting in complex geographies maximizing recycled produced water use over freshwater.
