Published purpose
ion8 will assess the feasibility of adapting its proprietary automated telephony and unified communications platform for defence and dual-use applications. The project will analyze the Canadian defence market, identify applicable procurement pathways and regulatory requirements, and evaluate the technical modifications needed to align the platform with military-grade standards. Outputs include a market intelligence report, compliance roadmap, and technical alignment plan. The project will expand ion8's defence sector capabilities, create skilled Canadian jobs, and support the growth of Canada's domestic defence technology supply chain.
