Published purpose

This project is a half-year technology sprint meant to rapidly advance the operational readiness of AlumaPower’s aluminum-fueled generator technology for military and dual-use applications, in support of upcoming trial and demo events. This effort builds on recent military-focused R&D activities and addresses technical and conceptual feedback from Canadian and allied end users. Activities include: accelerated testing to validate system / sub-system performance and generate a consolidated evidence package; maturation of next-generation, high-energy-density aluminum-air galvanic cells; development of optional modular thermal management and heat export concepts; and preparation of prototype units for packaging, shipment, and off-site trials.
