Activities will include pursuing ISO 27001 cybersecurity certification, improving internal security and compliance practices; developing a roadmap aligned with defense procurement and controlled information requirements. The project will also include engagement with Canada’s defense industry through sector trade shows and supply chain outreach to better understand procurement pathways and partnership opportunities. This initiative will help position York’s advanced manufacturing capabilities to support Canada’s evolving defense supply
