Published purpose
Kraken is developing a dual-band Circular Synthetic Aperture Sonar (C-SAS) system to improve underwater imaging performance, target classification confidence, and operational flexibility. Building on Kraken's proven SAS technology, the system supports both linear and circular SAS imaging capabilities using a modular hardware architecture suitable for both person-portable, and larger UUV payloads.
