Published purpose
The project will enhance the robustness, reliability, and operational capability of automated inspection platforms including the NAVIC, TERAX, and Motorized Raster Arm. These modular robotic systems carry sensors used for remote inspection and scanning of industrial and marine structures. Development will focus on improving durability, environmental tolerance, and performance in demanding environments to support inspection of critical infrastructure and defence assets, including ship decks, ship and sub hulls, as well as industrial tanks, vessels, and pipelines.
