Published purpose

The purpose of this agreement is to encourage Indigenous participation in the forest economy. Under the Indigenous Forestry Initiative, Natural Resources Canada is making a non-repayable contribution to Pikangikum First Nation to support their start-up and delivery of the Pikangikum Youth Sawmill Program.
