Published purpose

The purpose of this agreement is to carry out a scoping exercise to identify technologies and required geospatial data sets and definitions of parameters and sensitivities needed for the development of a model to assess their land-use impacts, as a first step to gain more insights on the feasibility of the IEA plans, and aim to gain interest for further work in that area. NRCan will support this effort to enhance international cooperation with partners and relevant leading international organizations, stakeholders and experts from national governments, including Canada, to ensure the consideration of the latest available data sources and expert knowledge at this inception phase of this work.
