Published purpose
The Proponent will construct a 10.5 MW electrolytic hydrogen production facility at the Harmac Pulp Mill at Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. This electricity grid-enabled facility will generate clean hydrogen to displace fossil fuels in the transportation sector and for heating applications when blended directly into the natural gas system.
