This project aims to develop and implement a series of interactive research on thermokarst mapping to enhance the learning experience in permafrost research. By creating a working relationship with multiple organizations and Indigenous partners, researchers will have access to terrain conditions and thermokarst distribution across the Northwest Territories, fostering a deeper understanding of complex concepts and promoting active engagement to train student mappers to improve permafrost knowledge within the Northwest Territories and abroad.
