This project aims to strengthen the trust between communities and internal security forces to foster resilience to current and emerging security concerns, including terrorism and violent extremism. Project activities include: (1) developing and delivering training on community policing and preventing violent extremism and sexual gender-based violence; (2) rehabilitating and equipping 8 new pilot stations in communities; (3) rehabilitating and equipping 6 new police stations; and (4) supporting the implementation of 14 local security action plans on preventing crime, violent extremism, and sexual gender-based violence.
