The initiative aims to improve the enjoyment of the right to health of Haitians, particularly the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and adolescent girls. It will be implemented at the departmental level in the Southeast and at the national level in Port-au-Prince. It will contribute to a strengthened supply of sexual and reproductive health and rights services and better governance of health structures, create an environment favorable to the rights of women and adolescents in the communities and strengthen the capacities of civil society to defend and demand these rights; and ultimately improve the sexual and reproductive health and rights of Haitians, while laying the groundwork for the adoption of policies, norms, and laws that are more respectful of the sexual and reproductive rights of women and adolescent girls in Haiti.
