This project supports the Berghof Foundation in increasing the capacity of stakeholders from the Gulf and Horn of Africa to identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration on various regional peace and security challenges, particularly in Ethiopia and Sudan. These challenges include humanitarian needs, climate security, mediation, instability, migration, and gender-specific concerns. Project activities include: (1) identifying and establishing a core group of relevant and influential stakeholders; (2) facilitating joint conflict analyses and producing reports on findings and recommendations; (3) providing expert input into discussions on identified peace and security issues; and (4) organizing dialogue workshops to both identify and explore opportunities for collaboration and address those issues.
