This project aims to equip the 4th Land Border Regiment (LBR) of the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) as part of the United Kingdom’s LAF National Security Assistance Programme to secure Lebanon’s land border with Syria. Projects activities include: (1) building two protected border observation posts; (2) building a forward operating base; and (3) providing communication equipment to allow secure coordination between troops, LBR headquarters, and LAF headquarters.
