The project aims to contribute to Dominica’s vision to be the world’s “First Climate Resilient Nation” by making Dominica’s people, infrastructure and systems more resilient to climate-related and natural disasters so they can recover more quickly following disasters. It support the Climate Resilience Execution Agency of Dominica (CREAD)’s operations, allowing it to: 1) support the implementation of key Government of Dominica recovery and reconstruction projects; and 2) provide technical assistance to transform systems and build capacity in the civil service so that Dominica is able to manage recovery from future disaster events more effectively.
