This project aims to enhance the empowerment of 6,000 young people, including 3,600 young women, in Guyana’s most remote and hardest-to-reach regions. It provides them with opportunities to be more engaged and involved in their communities, to improve and diversify their economic livelihood options, and to participate more actively and meaningfully in decision-making. Project activities include: (1) providing opportunities to improve the civic participation of the targeted populations; (2) increasing access to resources for the targeted populations; and (3) fostering more meaningful engagement in decision-making among the targeted populations.
