This project's component provides additional funding to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic response in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This project aims to strengthen the coordination of national and provincial actors, and supports health structures and communities in the city of Kinshasa and provinces at risk of COVID-19 outbreak. This component of the project is being implemented in the health zones of the city of Kinshasa, which has an estimated population of 12 million, and 9 at-risk provinces (Kongo Central, Kwilu, Kwango, Mai-Ndombe, Kasaï, Haut-Katanga, Tshopo, Nord-Kivu and Sud-Kivu).
