This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of Senegal’s education system. The project provides technical and management expertise to ministries involved in implementing budget support in the education sector in Senegal, as well as the National Education and Training Support Program. The project also supports the implementation of the Government of Senegal’s Capacity Building Plan, which seeks to build technical and management capacities, mainly in education, but also in public-sector financial management reform. This initiative is a component of Canada’s budget support for the education sector in Senegal. Project activities started in 2012.
